VITA CYPRUS LTD was incorporated in 1983 by Mr. Varnavas Varnava, an entrepreneur by nature and owner of the Company. Many years later, in 1995, In 1995, the owner decided to set up a plastics factory with the intention of producing water storage tanks using the rotomolding method. This saw the beginnings of VITA PLAST, the Plastics Division of the Company. Today, Vita Cyprus Ltd is the dominant player in Cyprus for the provision of rotomolded plastic water storage tanks and other plastic products (The Company also produces fuel storage tanks, flower pots, dog houses, chutes, and other plastic products.) While Cyprus is its main market for the plastic products, the Company has also done exports of plastic products to countries in the Middle East and Africa.
During one of his many business trips abroad, the owner got very interested in integrated solar water heating systems and since about 2005 the Company started to do research and development into the production of such a system using plastic housing. The VitaSolar system was thus borne, and these days we have two solar water heating systems that are commercially available, models VS 100L and VS 200L.
Even though our entry in Cyprus into the solar systems market is recent, we are confident that our innovative, all-in-one, integrated solar water heating system has all the credentials to help us succeed in this market as well.
The Head Office is based at “VITA Court”, located in Strovolos area, Nicosia, while the VITA PLAST factory is located and the Athienou Industrial Area, Larnaca district, Cyprus. Both premises are owned by Vita Cyprus Ltd.
